YU is not even an year old and it has established a good foothold in the Indian smartphone market. The company has till now come up with four smartphones – Yureka, Yuphoria, Yureka Plus, Yunique , all under the 10,000 price tag.

Now the company is all set to launch its flagship smartphone, the Yu Yutopia, which according to the company will be the “Most Powerful Phone on the Planet”. Listings on the Zauba website had also pointed to a few of the important specifications of the Yu Yutopia a couple of months back. According to these listings, the Yutopia sports a 5.2 inch display, and sadly the phone will not include any microSD card slot, so you will not have the option to expand the memory size.

Lately, the company had also been teasing the launch of the smartphone by uploading few images of the smartphone on social networking websites, these images suggest that the Yu Yutopia will be featuring a metal body, Quad HD display, have built in storage of 32GB, and support Quick Charge. Yu, in its latest tweet took dig at the OnePlus 2, they uploaded a pic with the tagline – “Yutopia can Quick-Charge while the kids figure out what’s 1+2.”

The latest information coming from another source is that the Yu Yutopia smartphone will come in two variants – 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM and both these variants will be powered by octa core Snapdragon 810 processor.

The 3GB RAM phone will sport a Full HD resolution display and the other phone with 4GB RAM will have Quad HD resolution display.

Giving more information about the price of the smartphone the source says that the 3GB variant will be priced at Rs. 19,990 and the second 4GB RAM variant will cost Rs. 23,700. If the Yu Yutopia does come out with these prices it will become the most affordable smartphone with the Snapdragon 810 processor, which until now is the OnePlus 2.

There has also been rumors floating that the Yu Yutopia will be coming with the hated invite system on the footsteps of the OnePlus. We can just hope that this is just a fake rumor and Yu does not include an invite system to purchase the Yu Yutopia.
