The Indian smartphone manufacturer Xolo has launched a new variant of the earlier Xolo 8X 1000 in India and it is dubbed as Xolo 8X-1000i. The smartphone is now listed on the official company website of Xolo and it is priced at Rs. 6,999. The company had not made any official announcement about the availability of the Xolo 8X 1000i smartphone but the smartphone is already up for purchase on the e-commerce website Snapdeal.

Let’s have a look at the features and Xolo 8X 1000i specifications, the smartphone is pretty thin at 7.9mm of thickness and it has dimensions of 140 x 70 x 7.9 mm. At these dimensions, the smartphones sports a 5 inch HD display that has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The display comes protected with Asahi Dragontrail glass.

The Xolo 8X-1000i is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6592M processor clocked at 1.4Ghz and this is coupled with 2GB of RAM and a quad-core ARM Mali 450 GPU for processing of graphics. The smartphone offers 16GB of internal space that can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.

The Xolo 8X-1000i houses an 8MP primary camera sensor on the rear along with an LED flash and Exmor R Sensor and on the front, it has a 2MP camera. The smartphone comes with two SIM card slots and offers connectivity options such as 3G, GPRS/EDGE, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth and it is fuelled by a 1920 mAh battery that according to the company claims delivers around 11 hours of Talktime and 352 hours standby time (on 2G).
