Videocon Launch World’s First Windows 10 TV, Price Starts at Rs. 39,990


The Indian electronics company, Videocon in collaboration with Microsoft, on Wednesday unveiled the first Windows-10 powered LED TV. This Videocon Windows 10 TV will be available in two size variants, the 32 inch TV that will be priced at RS. 39.990 and the 40-inch model will cost Rs. 52,990.

This Windows 10 TV from Videocon will also be able to work as a personal computer and it will start selling from next month. The ‘One Touch PC, One Touch TV’, comes loaded with the Windows Store, Microsoft Office, Allcast app. The user will also be able to access different social media websites like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest too.


Videocon Launch World’s First Windows 10 TV: Work as a personal computer

The user will have the option of running the Videocon Window 10 TV as a TV to access all the channels. The 98cm model of this Windows TV features a full HD display and Videocon’s new TV range also has the inbuilt Wi-Fi function. The TV also features this MHL interface using which the user can connect their phones, tablets etc too.

On the user can choose to run the TV as a Personal Computer, it has HDMI ports, is packed with 2GB of DDR3 RAM and has 16 GB of internal storage to offer and if required it can be expanded to 128 GB using a MicroSD card.

Shoot spoke about some of the usability of the TV saying that the students will be able to easily create and share school assignments, the homemakers can minister and share recipes, and the professionals will have option to work outside of their offices.
