Samsung Galaxy J3 Gets Official, Listed on Samsung’s China Website


The South Korean Tech giant Samsung is all set to expand its J series of smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy J3 has made its way to the official website of Samsung China and the listing the full spec sheet of the J3. What is interesting to note is that the smartphone has been listed with a slightly different name – Samsung Galaxy J3(6).

This Galaxy J3 smartphone received certification from TENAA and 3C a few days back. Samsung has not included any information about the pricing and the availability of the smartphone.

Lately, we have seen Samsung fiercely marketing the J-Series of smartphones in India using the tag of an entry level 4G smartphones. Indlia has already seen the a few Samsung J Series smartphones – the Galaxy J1 at Rs. 7,190; the Galaxy J1 Ace that Rs. 6,300, and the latest being the September launched Galaxy J2 smartphone which featured a price tag of Rs. 8,490. The J5 and J7 smartphones saw separate releases in July.

Let’s have a look at the specs that the Samsung Galaxy J3 will have to offer, the smartphone will sport a 5 inch Super Amoled display having HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The Galaxy J3 will be powered a quad core processor that is clocked at 1.2GHz and this is coupled with 1.5 GB of RAM.


The smartphone will come with 8GB of internal storage and you will also be able to expand the memory space using a microSD card upto 128GB. The Samsung Galaxy J3 will have to option to use 4G LTE and the smartphone will be running the Android v5.1 Lollipop out of the box with Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI on top of that.


In the camera department, the Galaxy J3 will sport an 8 MP camera on the back having LED Flash and autofocus. With that, the smartphone will be featuring a 5 MP shooter on the front. The phone will also offer the basic connectivity options like – 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Micro-USB. The phone will be backed up by a 2,600mAh battery.

There has not yet been any declaration about the release date of the device or whether if the smartphone will support dual SIM usage of the $G LTE option in India.
