Microsoft will start the new year in India by launching the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 on the 7th January. We earlier got to know about the plans of Microsoft launching the Surface Pro 4 when the Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella had announced during the Future Unleashed event, Mumbai that the company’s Surface Pro 4 tablet will enter India in January 2016. The Surface Pro 4 was first launched in the US in October carrying a price tag of $899 (Rs 58,700 approximately).

Now Microsoft has sent out media invites for an event on the 7th January that carries the tagline “Start fresh on a brand new Surface”. The tagline does not directly mention about the launch of the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, but the hint is pretty evident and we can clearly see what Microsoft wants us to see. This is the first Surface device that the company is officially launching in India, which signals the growing importance of India in the field of electronics.
