LG Launches Spirit LTE, G4 Stylus 4G with VoLTE, VoWiFi in India

The Korean Tech giant, LG has in India collaborated with Reliance Retail to sell its new smartphones based on VoLTE (Voice over LTE) and VoWiFi (Voice over WiFi) in the country.

The first two devices that will be released under this partnership will be the LG G4 Stylus 4G and the LG Spirit LTE.

As Reliance Jio that is a part of the Reliance group, will be releasing its 4G services in the coming months, this can be a strategic planning to make the two smartphones available in the Indian market through Reliance Jio that will launch the VoLTE and VoWiFi, in India.

LG Launches Spirit LTE, G4 Stylus 4G Smartphone via Reliance Retail with VoLTE and VoWiFi

Speaking on this, the Head of Marketing, LG mobiles India, Amit Gujral said, “With the launch of the new LG Spirit LTE and LG G4 Stylus 4G we once again shown our commitment to bring the best in class products and experiences to our customers. These new smartphones are a must have for all who want to take advantage of the 4G network.

With Reliance Retail being our partner, and given its extensive network across India we are sure that existing LG loyalists and potential LG customers who want the best will be able to own these futuristic gadgets in outlets near them.”

Let me tell you that using the VoLTE and VoWiFi, the smartphone users will be able to make voice calls directly over the LTE or WiFi connection. Right now, Airtel is the only 4G LTE service provider in India. Reliance Jio will offer VoLTE and VoWiFi service, which Airtel does not and this might be the decisive factor between them.

Let’s have a look at what the two smartphone have to offer, the LG G4 Stylus sports a  5.7 inch HD display on the front and the device is powered by Quad Core Snapdragon 410 processor. With that, it has 1GB of RAM and an internal storage of 16GB. It also has MicroSD support to expand the memory storage. The LG G4 Stylus houses a 13MP Primary camera on the back having laser autofocus and on the front it has a 5MP.

The smartphone is fuelled by 3,000mAh battery. To make usage of the stylus. LG has included some productivity apps into the smartphone.

The smaller LG Spirit LTE sports 4.7 inch HD display and the smartphone is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. With that it is coupled with 1GB of RAM, but LG has cut down on the internal storage keeping it at 8GB. The LG Spirit LTE houses an 8MP camera on the back and a 5MP shooter on the front.

The two LG smartphones,  offer dual SIM, dual standby and 4G LTE connectivity. The LG Spirit LTE & G4 Stylus 4G will be available at all Reliance retail stores in the coming days but nothing official has been released about its pricing yet.
