LG G4 Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update Next Week:

Google has improved the user interface, security and battery life with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. Android Marshmallow, which was unveiled on October 5, brings several enhancements. Some of the notable changes include better app permissions; handle Web links differently; Android Pay if official now with Android M; fingerprint sensor support, new ‘Do Not Disturb’ mode, ‘Doze Off’ feature to improve battery efficiency, some aesthetic changes and USB Type-C support.

In a statement, Chris Yie, the vice president and head of marketing communications for LG Mobile Communications said, “By working closely with Google, LG has been able to bring Android 6.0 to the G4 ahead of any of our competitors, While speed alone isn’t an indicator of great service, it does go a long way toward giving consumers the confidence that LG is committed to its existing customers first.”

The process of releasing an Operating System updates for devices not running the stock version of Android is a long one as the company has to change its own company skin according to the changes made in the stock Android which might take varying time.

The wait of the Android users can be along one too that leads to a frustrating phase that is known as Android fragmentation. In which the user frustratingly waits for the Android Update for his device without being sure of the time period for which he will have to wait.

LG said that they will make further announcements about the availability of the Android Marshmallow updates in the individual markets and the phones that will be getting the update.
