Intex Aqua Young Released, Check Specs, Price, Features


The Indian Smartphone manufacturer has come up with yet another budget smartphone in India, the Intex Aqua Young. The latest addition to the Intex Aqua series will be available for Rs. 5090 and the users will have the option of selecting the device from the color options of – dark grey, white, and champagne.

The Intex Aqua Young measures 145.3 x 72 x 9.5 mm and has a weight of 158 grams. The smartphone sports a 5 inch FWVGA IPS display on the front having a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and the screen is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass coating on top of it. The Intex Aqua Young smartphone is powered by a quad-core SC7731 chipset processor which is clocked at 1.3 GHz, this is paired with 1GB of RAM and a Mali 400MP GPU. The Intex Aqua Young will be running the Android v5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

The Intex Aqua Young will offer 8 GB of internal storage and the storage will be expandable up to 32 GB using a microSD card.

On the back, the smartphone features a 5 MP primary shooter with LED flash and it has a 0.3 MP secondary front camera. The Intex Aqua Young offers various camera features like panorama, slow motion video recording, Image capturing using Vol up and volume down keys, and option to capture an image while recording a video.


Intex has packed the Intex Aqua Young with 2500mAh of battery power and the company claims that the phone delivers 9 and a half hours of talktime and standby time of 250 hours.

The Intex Aqua Young offers connectivity options like Dual SIM (both GSM), GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS with AGPS, WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, Bluetooth and Micro USB.


Intex had released the Intex Aqua Play a few days back at Rs. 3429, it  features a 4-inch WVGA display and is run by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512 MB of RAM. It came with the Android v5.2 Lollipop out of the box.

With competitors like the Yu Yunique and the Lenovo A2010 providing better features at almost same prices, the Intex smartphones does fall short to compete against them.
